Hello, and welcome to thebainherald!
There seemed to be a definite space on DW, and even further afield, for a community relating to the works of Garth Nix--in particular, I'm hoping this community can function as a repository for news (since Nix himself doesn't archive the news posts on his website, sadly) and for fanworks. I'll do my best to keep the community reasonably up to date regarding news, and I'm hoping other fans can contribute on the fannish front as well.
A word about the community name--it's my entirely subjective opinion that the Old Kingdom books are the most popular of Nix' works, so I picked a name for the community that in my mind had connotations of a crossroads and drew on the Old Kingdom series. Whatever your favorite Nix book, character, or short story, welcome!
